Why You Should Attend This Summit:

The 2022 Military Tactical Communications Summit will focus on the strategies, technologies, and policies that enable reliable and efficient communication networks in expeditionary environments to ensure continued battlefield success. Accelerating the modernization and implementation of advanced communication technologies and solutions to enable informational and operational advantages over adversaries in any environment is a main priority for DoD and the U.S. military. For 2022, the Pentagon requested $12.7B for the improvement and modernization of command, control, communications, and intelligence systems, an increase from $11.9B for FY21. This year’s event will convene speakers from the DoD, Military Services, Industry, and Academia to discuss continuous efforts to modernize and advance resilient and secure tactical communication networks and technologies to ensure informational dominance and operational flexibility in an increasingly evolving battlespace.

Rapid shifts to the global security environment are presenting a dynamic threat landscape as adversaries are highly adaptive and threat environments are becoming progressively complex. As a result, DoD and the military services are implementing innovative communication capabilities and investing in cutting-edge technologies that will provide new warfighting advantages across all-domains for the Warfighter. This event will provide attendees with current research and development initiatives, such as the development of automation and network protection in the battlefield as part of Capability Set 25, JADC2, the modernization of network infrastructure, SATCOM capabilities, growth of information and data sharing, to enable quicker, resilient, and more efficient communication for the Warfighter regardless of operating environment. Distinguished speakers at this year’s event will highlight strategies, innovative technologies, and development priorities as DoD and U.S. Military transition to multi-domain operations and contend with vulnerable communication environments. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to discuss their perspectives on this effort and ask questions to key decision makers, subject experts, policy advisors, and solution providers.
